  • A mistake in mixing the epoxy in the right proportions, or even for too long can cause many undesirable results.
  • More hardener doesn't just make the material cure faster.  It can generate massive amounts of heat if it cures too quickly (enough to melt plastic), which is obviously bad for your mold, or not cure at all.  It is important to stick to the specified proportions.
