  • A good, super flat table is used to layout and weld the main hoop and it's internal bars.
  • Cutting taco gussets for the main hoop. The heat from welding weakens the tubing slightly, so gussets at intersection points, called "nodes", helps to add strength back to the joints.
  • Tonight he went over crafting the gussets for the cage.  Cleaning the edges of the gusset material, in this case 16 gauge cold rolled steel, ensures a quality weld.
